Export & Freight Aug-Sep 25

Busy Summer

Welcome to the August September issue of Export & Freight.

In this bumper issue we bring you a special focus feature on Sustainability focusing on reducing carbon emissions, optimising fuel efficiency, and adopting greener technologies such as electric vehicles and alternative fuels.

By increasingly embracing sustainable practices, logistics companies are discovering they can minimise environmental impact while improving long-term operational efficiency and compliance.

We also feature our Ports and Port Services such as freight forwarders and customs agents, highlighting not only the importance of the ports themselves but all the businesses that work in and around these essential gateways, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods on and off this island.

And we also turn the spotlight on Derry Group Ireland in which we gain an insight into how they have teamed up with Moffett Automation to establish an innovative robotic cold store at their Carn headquarters.

There is a review of Road Transport Expo (RTX) and we bring you the exciting news that this popular truck show is spreading its wings and flying over to Northern Ireland next year.
There is also full coverage of the 2025 Export & Freight Golf Masters, so if you were with us at Lough Erne in June you might just see your photograph in this issue.

This packed issue also includes columns from Logistics UK and the RHA as well as all the latest news from the local logistics industry.

With the countdown to our Awards Night well and truly on, we’re going to be busy at Export & Freight over the next few weeks preparing for the biggest night of the year. We hope to see you all there.

Enjoy what’s left of the summer.
