Logistics UK’s free-to-attend Public Services Logistics conference, which takes place at Nottingham Racecourse on Thursday 16 April, will address the key issues faced by utilities, public authorities and the construction and waste management sectors, providing the opportunity to gain insights and practical knowledge and network with professionals shaping the future of compliance and transport.
The wide-ranging conference programme will cover essential compliance updates for the sector; working with local communities; electric vehicles and alternatives; a Mock Traffic Commissioner preliminary hearing; best practice for risk management and road traffic collision investigation; and a human error workshop.
Speakers will include representatives from National Highways, Cox Group, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Weightmans LLP, Anker & Marsh, Aviva, Prestige Pipelaying LV, ViGo Energy and Logistics UK.
Maddi Solloway-Price, Logistics UK’s Head of Road Freight and English Regions, who will be chairing the conference, said: “Public services operators are responsible for a huge range of specialist vehicles on Britain’s roads, all of which provide a vital service for the economy but many of which need specialist management to ensure they can be operated effectively. We are delighted to be welcoming delegates to our second Public Services Logistics conference, following the success of last year’s inaugural event, for a programme packed with information and debate for everyone in the sector.”
The Public Services Logistics conference is supported by the AA and Weightmans LLP.
