Harris MAXUS UK has announced the appointment of Graham Balsom as Head of Fleet, further strengthening its UK leadership team as the company accelerates its ambitions within the fleet sector and reinforces its commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Balsom reports to Harris MAXUS UK Sales Director, Gary Brown.
Balsom joins the business with more than three decades of automotive experience spanning technical, retail and fleet operations, having built a solid reputation as one of the automotive industry’s most respected fleet professionals. He will play a key role in enhancing support for dealers, leasing partners and fleet customers, while helping to embed the processes and responsiveness required to deliver consistently high service levels for customers.
Beginning his career as a Land Rover technician before progressing into customer-facing and sales roles, Balsom has built a broad understanding of both customer expectations and commercial operations. He went on to establish and grow fleet businesses with considerable success, including transforming a small fleet department into a 1,000-unit operation before taking on senior fleet leadership roles within the Mercedes-Benz network.
