Irish Freight Solutions Unveiled New Mental Health Awareness Trailer with Whysup at Multimodal 2025

At Multi-Modal 2025 Irish Freight Solutions (IFS) revealed a new addition to its fleet: a co-branded trailer launched in partnership with mental health education organisation Whysup.

The specially branded trailer is aimed at raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing within the logistics industry.

The trailer, which carries messaging from both IFS and Whysup, was officially unveiled at the event alongside a talk by Mark Murray, Co-founder of Whysup, titled “Championing Mental Health and Wellbeing in Logistics.”

The session sparked open conversations around the growing need for mental health support across the sector – particularly among drivers, warehouse staff, and frontline teams.

This marks the second trailer in the IFS fleet to carry the joint messaging of IFS and Whysup. It builds on an ongoing collaboration that has already seen Whysup deliver training and wellbeing sessions to logistics teams, with a focus on practical mental health education and early intervention.

At their stand at Multimodal, IFS also hosted a popular golf simulator challenge, which raised money for mental health charity Mind. Visitors were encouraged to take part to help raise funds while opening up more conversations around wellbeing in the industry.

James Wood, Managing Director of IFS, commented: “The logistics sector can be a tough environment. Long hours, time away from home, and high pressure are all part of the job but that doesn’t mean we ignore the human side. This trailer is about reminding people that mental health matters, and it’s okay to speak up. We’re proud to support Whysup and play our part in getting that message out on the road.”

Mark Murray, Co-founder of Whysup, added: “It’s fantastic to see this idea come to life at Multimodal. This trailer will be seen by thousands of people and that visibility helps break the stigma. IFS are leading the way in logistics by putting mental health front and centre – not just internally, but publicly. We’re grateful for their continued support and for helping take this conversation further.”

With mental health challenges increasingly recognised across transport and logistics, IFS hopes this campaign encourages other companies in the sector to look inward, support their teams, and open up the conversation.
