Mike Cutts appointed Iveco UK Managing Director

IVECO UK has announced the appointment of Mike Cutts as its new Managing Director, effective 2 March 2026.

Mike Cutts steps into the role following a successful tenure as Business Line Director Full Range UK & ROI, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s product strategy and accelerating its move towards low- and zero-emission transport solutions.

Having joined IVECO in 2019 as Light Business Line Director, Cutts brought with him more than 15 years’ experience in the automotive sector, including senior roles at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Vauxhall.

During his time leading the Business Line, Cutts oversaw a period of significant product development and innovation, with a clear focus on decarbonisation. This included the launch of a comprehensive electric vehicle range such as the eDaily and S-eWay, alongside the introduction of the new eJolly and eSuperJolly models.

He also strengthened IVECO’s position in alternative fuels, enhancing its natural gas portfolio and introducing the class-leading 6×2 variant of the IVECO S-Way CNG.

Among the standout initiatives during his leadership was the introduction of IVECO’s Driveaway Programme, designed to reduce lead times by offering fully bodied, mission-ready vehicles built and prepared for customers’ specific operational requirements.

Speaking on his appointment, Cutts said:“I’m excited to step into the role of Managing Director at IVECO for UK & ROI at such an important time for our industry and our company. My focus will be on strengthening our customer relationships, accelerating our transition towards sustainable transport and building on the strong foundations already in place.

“After an incredible six years as Business Line Director, I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience, together with our talented team and valued partners to drive sustainable, profitable growth and deliver value for our customers in the years ahead.”

As part of the leadership transition, former UK Managing Director Vincenzo Nicolo will take up a new role as Managing Director for Poland, Ukraine & the Baltics.

IVECO UK thanked Nicolo for his strong leadership during his time in the UK and wished him every success in his new position.

The appointment marks a new chapter for IVECO in the UK and Ireland as the manufacturer continues to expand its sustainable transport offering and strengthen its market position across light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles.
