There was a great buzz about Eikon Centre outside Belfast on Wednesday for the launch of RTX Northern Ireland.
A number of potential exhibitors and interested parties attended the Eikon for an Open Day for the show, which is coming to Northern Ireland in 2026.
The event was hosted by Vic Bunby, Managing Director of Road Transport Media, organisers of the RTX shows and supported by the teams from media partners Export & Freight and Fleet Transport magazines.

The event opened with Vic Bunby giving a briefing about what they can expect from RTX Northern Ireland and this was followed by a chance to look around the Eikon’s impressive facilities and talk to the team from Road Transport Media.

The reaction by all present was very positive and businesses are already signing up to take part in the show, running on 15th and 16th April, 2026, which is ‘all about the truck’.
Also present on the day were representatives from Breaker Breaker, the event’s charity partner who aim to look after and improve mental health within the haulage industry.
