Transport Training Services (TTS) at Nutts Corner was the venue this week for the judging days in this year’s Truck and Van of the Year. These are the first two awards judged in the Export & Freight Transport and Logistics Awards
Held on Wednesday and Thursday the judging days involved presentations of the individual vehicles from the various manufacturers entered followed by the opportunity for each judge to take the vehicles for a test drive.
Van of the Year was first, taking place on Wednesday morning and the weather was relatively kind. However, the rain clouds gathered for Thursday’s Truck of the Year competition – although no-one seemed to mind.
Both days were hugely successful, and a huge thanks to all the judges who attended on both days, to the manufacturers and dealers for providing the presentations and the vehicles – and also to AbbeyAutoline, sponsors of the Van of the Year Award.
