In preparation for a busy year ahead Noone Transport Limited has selected Mercedes-Benz as its preferred supplier for its latest round of investment which sees the leading Ashbourne-based haulage company boost its fleet of heavy commercial vehicles with the addition of 22 new heavy-duty Actros trucks.
Supplied by Motor Distributors Limited, the new 1845LS Big Space tractor units are factory painted and finished with sign writing by FISH Graphics in Noone Transport’s distinctive new white and red livery and will soon become a familiar sight on European roads.
Developed specifically with national and international long-distance haulage in mind, each unit is from the ‘L’ interior line – the biggest and most luxurious version in the Actros model series – and comes complete with a myriad of driver comfort features. To the fore is climate control, night heater, sliding fridge, ambient interior lighting, glass sunroof and premium mattress. Safety is enhanced through tyre pressure monitors and full camera system, with Fleet Management System provided by Transics.
Founded in Duleek in 1986, Noone Transport has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading logistics and distribution companies. Today, the company operates from its new eight-acre, state-of-the-art, premises complete within stand-alone workshop, stores, truck wash and storage facility for 24,000 pallets.
In addition to a dedicated national transport service, Noone also operates a Europe-wide service for full and part-load consignments employing ambient and temperature controlled trailers.
