O’Reilly Transport takes delivery of 75 new SDC Curtainsiders

O’Reilly Transport Ireland have bolstered their logistics operations with the addition of 75 new SDC-built Curtainsiders. The 4.65m tri-axle trailers were engineered at SDC’s Toomebridge facility and follow over 30 years of partnership between the two companies.  

Designed to meet the specific requirements of O’Reilly Transport Ireland, the trailer order features Haldex braking and roll stability system, ISO regulation lighting, steel galvanised reinforced flooring, roller buffers, and a raised coupling box for ease of access.

Family-owned, O’Reilly Transport Ireland has been serving the industry for over 50 years, with key locations in Ireland and UK. They operate a fleet of 150 trucks and 600 trailers for their services to many different industries. Finished in O’Reilly’s notable ‘Truck red’ livery, the vehicles have gone straight into service, delivering goods to a wide range of sectors.

Every new trailer is built at SDC’s state-of-the-art facilities in Toomebridge, Mansfield, and Southampton. The manufacturer also provides a fast-moving parts operation with 12 locations, including newly opened depots in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, and Glasgow.
