Next stop for the UKWA Warehouse Roadshow 2023 will be Northern Ireland. Following a successful regional event in Newport Wales earlier this year, businesses in the warehousing and logistics sector in the province are being invited to The Stormont Hotel in Belfast on Wednesday 27 September.
Attendees will join the UKWA team, members of AIWA (All Ireland Warehousing Association), and an impressive line-up of expert speakers for lunch, followed by a valuable afternoon of presentations and panel discussions on topical issues for the sector in Northern Ireland.
The afternoon will kick off with a spotlight on the important relationship between transport and warehousing activities, followed by an informative panel discussion about Effective, Efficient & Safe Materials Handling, with insights and advice on financing a MHE fleet.
Later, guests will hear views on the local labour market and skills agenda, and there will be a trade-association discussion group, with representatives from government exploring the impact of the Windsor Framework on cold-chains, freight transport and – of course – warehousing, in the province and beyond.
