Volvo Used Trucks customers purchasing a Volvo Approved grade vehicle can now extend the manufacturer’s driveline warranty from the standard 12-months to a maximum of 36-months, at the point of purchase.
The move highlights Volvo Used Trucks’ confidence in the quality of the Volvo Approved vehicles on its forecourt thanks to a comprehensive 200-point inspection and full cosmetic check for every vehicle.
A Volvo Approved model is the most popular grade of truck sold by Volvo Used Trucks, representing a tractor unit or rigid of very good quality, typically with up to 750,000km on the clock. It comes as standard with a comprehensive 12-month / 180,000km Volvo Driveline-Pro warranty included in the price. Previously, customers could extend the warranty by an additional 12-months / 180,000km at the point of purchase, but this extension can now be for an additional 24-months / 360,000km – taking the total period of cover to up to 36-months and 540,000km, and up to a maximum odometer reading of 1,200,000km.

A Volvo Driveline-Pro warranty covers many parts and components traditionally missing from other driveline warranties. Coverage even includes the clutch and AdBlue system, as well as the instrument cluster, tachograph head, night heater, cruise control and almost every ECU within the vehicle.
In addition to Volvo Approved grade trucks, Volvo Used Trucks also offers Volvo Selected vehicles, which are identified as being of the highest quality, and with no more than 400,000km on the clock. Volvo Selected vehicles come as standard with a 24-month / 360,000km Volvo Driveline-Pro warranty, which can be extended by an additional 12 months / 180,000km at the point of purchase.
Volvo Economy models comprise older or higher-mileage vehicles picked as offering exceptionally good value. Every Volvo Economy truck is presented in a clean condition and passes a thorough safety inspection prior to delivery, and is backed by a six-month, unlimited mileage, Volvo basic driveline warranty, which can be extended by an additional six months at the point of purchase.
